Despite slow economy and high gas price, American Nissan taught other automotive manufacturers how to sell trucks, SUVs, and vans - Giving a lot of market support to dealers.
It seems giving money out did make consumers to buy their trucks, SUVs and Vans. American Nissan increased 32.6% sales of light trucks in August 2008, which drives total sales of increase of 14.2% compared with August 2007. Total number of units sold for Nissan in August 2008 was 97,417.
Nissan’s luxury brand, Infiniti, increased sales of 8% by selling 11,076 units last month.
