Mazda USA wants to make sure that car shoppers with cash for clunkers cash rebate could afford a Mazda more easily.
According to this article (thank to one of our readers for providing this information), The Japanese car manufacturer announced that additional $500 promotional cash would be given to Mazda buyers who qualify for the Cash for Clunkers program top of all Mazda incentives and Rebates.
Despite the blog post says there is only special financing on the new 2010 Mazda 3, what we heard is that there is a rumor of volume-based dealer cash on the Mazda 3. Since the hidden dealer bonus cash is determined by the total number of the Mazda 3 being sold by dealerships, car shoppers should contact as many Mazda dealers as possible because the more you ask, the higher chance you would find a dealer that is willing to deal.
For the Mazda 6, the midsize sport sedan from Mazda, there is up to $2500 Mazda dealer incentive. For car shoppers who currently own a Mazda vehicle, there is $1000 Mazda owner loyalty cash on top of everything. By adding all possible incentives on top of the cash for clunkers, the total incentive could be up to $7,500 ($2500 dealer cash, $1000 loyalty rebate, $3500 cash for clunkers, $500 additional Mazda cash with cash for clunkers program). Keep in mind that car shoppers could still negotiate selling price. As the 2010 Mazda 6 is going to be in dealerships in a few months, the 2009 Mazda 6 could, and should, be had for around invoice minus all incentives. In other words, for people qualify for all incentives mentioned above, you are targeting $9,000 off MSRP for the 2009 Mazda 6 without much problem.
It seems very attractive huh? Get a new car this year and submit your purchase price to us!
