Ford reported sales of 134,144 units being sold for December 2008. The record indicates a 32% drop compared with December 2007, like most auto makers in U.S.A. due to the economy situation. However, market shares went up by 0.7%, which shows that Ford is doing above average.

The Ford Flex, the crossover from Ford, had a terrific month with 2,685 vehicles being sold, which is the best month in this year.

The Ford F-Series becomes miracle in this economy regression as it is the best selling vehicle in 2008 with 515,513 units were sold. The Ford F-150 plays a big role as 8,600 cars were sold in December 2008, which is 84% of the F-Series sales.
