12 Mar 09 Nissan Rebates, Incentives, Dealer Cash, Customer Cash Back
Nissan uses both customer rebates that would give cash to customers and also give cash to Nissan dealers as incentives. Dealer cash is given to car dealers to give out better car deals to car shoppers so car dealers would be able to have car quotes lower than their “cost” without letting car buyes know as car incentives given to dealers would not be listed on the sales invoice. Auto dealers could use the “invoice price” and the amount auo shoppers purchase the car to make you think they lose a lot of money. In fact, automotive dealers are still make money.
On top of of all the public Nissan rebates for purchase, there are some private offers or certain promotions to particular group of potential Nissan car owners that were known so far.
- Nissan Graduate Rebate (SignatureGRADUATE): Like most graduate rebates for other auto makers, this Nissan offer is a promotion for students who are going to graduate soon or potential car buyers who just graduated from college or university.
- Nissan Volume Bonus to participating Nissan Dealers: The famous $5000 dealer incentives for NIssan SUVs, Minivans & Trucks is a good example of this kind of dealer incentives. In order to get this incentive, Nissan dealers need to reach the sales goal set and they would get additional incentives. Since only Nissan dealers that reach the sales goal would get it, the selling price would vary from dealers to dealers.
- Nissan Loyalty Rebate: For current Nissan owners and their direct family members to have additional cash rebate toward the new car purchase. The rebate amount is different from different models.
