06 Jan 09 Mitsubishi Motors Announces Decline of 22.6% in December 2008

Mitsubishi Motors posted a total of 4,570 units in December 2008, a 22.6% decline compared with last year.

The Mitsubishi Galant leads all the sales with 1,214 units sold, a 20% increase compared with December 2007. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder also posted a increase sales of 31%.

Mitsubishi Motors sold 7,378 cars in September 2008, a huge dop of 39% compared with September 2007 (12,012 units were sold).

Despite the 1.1% increase from the Mitsubishi Galent with 2,605 units were sold, Mitsubishi Motors could not overcome the low economy in USA.

Following by several months of $1,000 rebate, Mitsubishi increases rebate on Outlander to $1,500 this month. There is also special APR of 0% for 60 months if you prefer to take special APR instead of the $1,500 rebate.
