01 Jul 09 Mazda Incentives Watch - July 2009 : 6 & CX-7 Incentives go up

New Mazda incentives & Rebates for July 2009 are available. Car incentives and rebates for purchase are mostly the same compared with last month. Here is a simple summary.

for 2009 Mazda 6, the lower trims are still at $1500 dealer cash, but for higher trims, dealer cash for purchase has been increased to $2500.

The 2009 Mazda CX-7, with $3750 dealer cash and $500 additional hit and win bonus last month, has $4000 Mazda dealer engagement cash, but the status of volume bonus is unknown at this point.

The 2009 Mazda CX-9, dealer cash is still at $4000 this month. However, lease cash is increased, which is strange as normally, the Mazda lease incentives and Mazda purchase incentives should be on the page as either both lease incentives and buying inventives go up or go down at the same time. We suspect there is hidden bonus under the table, or like the $500 volume bonus for CX-7 last month.

The 2010 Mazda 3 has only special APR for qualified customers, while the Mazda Tribute incentives and Rebates keep the same.

04 Jun 09 Mazda Reports Sales May 2009, Mazda 3 Leads in All Sales

Mazda USA announced the sales for May 2009. Most Mazda vehicles drop more than 30% of sales compared with May 2008, which results in total decrease of 40.1% compared with last year. Due to the less business day in May 2009, the daily selling rate is 37.9%.

Total of 16,718 units were sold in May 2009.

The Mazda 3, the compact sedan from Mazda re-designed several months ago, leads all Mazda sales with 7,500 units sold, which is 44.86% of total sales. However, the re-designed Mazda 6 has decrease in sales of 45.4%, which is the second worst behind the Mazda B-Series truck.

Two Mazda cars amazed people are the Mazda RX-8, the compact sport coupe from Mazda, is doing relatively well with only 23.6% decrease in daily selling rate. On the other hand, the Mazda CX-9, the mid-size crossover SUV from Mazda, drops 24.4%.

As most of the Mazda incentives & Mazda rebates are not increased, June 2009 could be another long month for Mazda.
