Mazda Incentives & Rebates is updated for December 2009. Current Mazda promotion program is called Mazda Drive-Off Event.
Despite the current Mazdapromotion is a “drive-off” event, the promotion seems not that attractive on the new 2010 Mazda models, so we are wondering if Mazda does not want to push cars into car shoppers hand in the x’mas 2009. Below is a summary of the offer from Mazda for December 2009.
The 2010 Mazda 3, despite it has been in the market for awhile, has no cash incentive for Mazda shoppers who are planning to pay in full or finance through their own bank or credit union. However, there is special APR that could be as low as 0% for 36 months.
The 2010 Mazda 6 has $1,000 customer cash for purchasing. For car shoppers who plan to finance this car, there is special APR program PLUS $400 Mazda customer cash if the finance is done through MAC.
The 2010 Mazda CX-9 has $1,000 buying incentive, which is same as last month. 0% special APR is also available on Mazda CX-9 for up to 36 months, 1.9% up to 60 months.
The 2010 Mazda CX-7 has similar promotion as the 2010 Mazda CX-9. There is $1,000 Mazda dealer engagement cash for purchase of this vehicle. 0% special APR promotion is also available for well-qualified car buyers.
Even the rebate program for Mazda 2010 model is not that good, the incentive program for Mazda 2009 model is better.
The 2009 Mazda RX-8 leads all Mazda model with $5,000 customer rebate, which is very good consider this is not an expensive vehicle.
The 2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata also has $3,500 customer rebate.

As Mazda Incentives & Rebates is updated for November 2009, below are something potential Mazda owners should know before walking into Mazda dealers.
Mazda dealer engagement programs for some model year 2009 Mazda vehicles are not available, but does it make sense to take out incentive when Mazda put cars on clearance? We do not think so. When auto makers want to kiss bye the previous model, the longer the cars sit in Mazda dealers’ parking lot, the more incentives would be available for customers. We will let you know in case there is insider information available.
Most special APR programs for Mazda vehicles got better this month, at least for 36-month car loan. APR is lowered by up to 1.9%. However, what makes us interesting is long-term special APR is not getting better. In other words, for Mazda shoppers who plan to finance the car longer than 36 months, in terms of special APR, you would not get better compared with the short 36-month loan.
2010 Mazda 3: 36-month APR is lowered by 1.9%, from 1.9% to 0.0% this month.
2010 Mazda 6: $1,000 Mazda Lease loyalty rebate is not available. However, $400 customer incentive is added with special APR offer.
2010 Mazda CX-7: $1,000 dealer incentive, or special APR program at 0% up to 36 months.
2010 Mazda CX-9: $1,000 Dealer Engagement Rebate is still available as last month. Special APR program does not change either. Best possible rate is 0.0% for up to 36 months.
2010 Mazda 5: $750 dealer cash given to Mazda dealers. Special APR program also applies to this model.
2009 Mazda RX-8: $5,000 Customer Cash given to RX-8 buyers. There is also special APR program at 2.9% up to 60 months, but for $5,000 cash, it is better to take cash in your pocket.
2009 Mazda Miata: $3,500 Mazda incentive.
