As Honda sales of August 2009 went up, Honda deals in September 2009 seems not as good as previous month?

Manufacture-to-dealer cash get decreased for the 2009 Honda Accord Accord V6 from $1,500 to $750, while the dealer cash for 2009 Honda Civic is is $750, while it was $1,000 last month. Good thing is that the dealer incentive for 2009 Honda Accord 4cyl, which the majority of people buy,  is still at $1,500.

Hidden Honda dealer cash?

However, Honda has had special program of hidden volume bonus for the Accord and the Civic before, maybe there is something going on under the table? Once we find out, we will let you know!

The compact crossover SUV from Honda, the 2009 Honda CR-V, still has $500 dealer incentive available. However, as the model year 2010 will be in dealers soon, inventory is expected to be going down. Pick one before they are gone!

01 Sep 09 American Honda Reports Sales for August 2009

American Honda reported sales for August 2009. With total sales of 161,439 units sold in August 2008, which is conveted to 14.2% daily-selling-rate, even American Honda might not be the best, the japanese car manufacurer mightrelax a little bit. The Cash for Clunkers program (C.A.R.S) really helps as the volume for compact Honda cars get really good results.

The Honda Fit, the compact car from Honda, posts an amazing record with 13,593 cars sold. Compared with August 2008, it has increase in sales of 194.1%.

With the 49.6% increase in sales compared with August 2008, the Honda Civic becomes the best-selling Honda vehicle with 43,294 units sold in August 2009.

The Honda CR-V, the compact SUV from Honda, also benifited with the Cash for Clunkers program with 30,284 units sold. Compared with 30,052 units sold in August 2008, it is a huge jump of 58.3% in daily-selling-rate.

The Honda Accord, the midsize sedan from Honda, drops sliently with 5% with 37,726 units sold last month.

However, the Honda Pilot, the midsize SUV had another dropping month with a decrease of 28.2% with 7,800 units sold last month.
