Car Buyer's Comment & Experience

This deal is closed after several phone calls, maybe around 10 before the day of this purchase is finished. When I was contacted at first, they offered me $24500 and told me me that there is no way any Honda dealer would go lower than that. After telling the salesperson that there is no way for me to pay over $24000, the conversation ends.
Then there were several phone calls from the car dealership, but no agreement was made. On March 30, they contacted me again and said they would do $24200, and that's the lowest they would go. I asked for manager and told them to beat $24000 as I have been saying. The manager then asked if $23300 PLUS destination fee is ok. I added them up and got $23970 and have them giving me the detail and OTD (out the door) price in email, so I would have something in writing. They refused to do that but did go through each fee in phone, and it seemed good to me.
After arriving the Honda dealer we started doing paperwork. The whole process is easy as the car salesperson even took out the window-etching without asking if I want automatically, and the car is nice.
After checking the car, we signed the paperwork and took my 2009 Honda Accord EX-L V6 home the next day.
This is a really nice car and this site is really helpful as I saw some real auto quotes and car offers before, which were very low, and that's the reason I played hardball to get lower than $24,000 for a car with MSRP a Honda Accord little over $29,000.
Really thank to this site and hope more and more people post their real car price.
